![]() With Segall on drums, Moothart on guitar, and Ubovich on bass, expect some high-intensity gigs. After not touring for five years, the band is back to rupture our eardrums and crawl deep under our skin. Now, we see that gig is part of a larger scheme. Someone on Reddit had noticed the band was playing a festival in Spain in July. We had an inkling something was up with Fuzz. After five years, Ty Segall is heading back out on tour with Fuzz Plus, it looks like Fuzz is dropping a new album soon. He’ll come through in June with Fuzz and then return in September with the Freedom Band to support his last album, First Taste. ![]() This is, of course, good news for Segall’s New York fans. And now, news has come that in 2020 he’ll be balancing tour dates between Ty Segall and the Freedom Band, and Fuzz, his proto-metal outfit with Charles Moothart and Chad Ubovich. What else could explain his display of musical acrobatics? He’s scoring films. Ty Segall is some kind of supernatural being. ![]()
